Ada Johnson

Since joining Google in January 2011, Ada has supported the company’s growth in many different areas. Currently, Ada is the Diversity Business Partner for People Operations at Google where she is responsible for the strategic direction and implementation of an inclusive culture; creating and delivering equitable, diverse, and inclusive strategies for change while building capability of Googlers at scale. Previously Ada served Google in a plethora of people-focused roles: GPS Staffing Manager, Head of Diversity Pipeline – Tech, and a Human Resources Business Partner on the Technical Infrastructure HR team where she provided consultative guidance on people operations strategies to NA and LatAm DataCenter leadership.

Prior to Google, Ada worked in roles where she specialized in synthesizing with business leaders and cross-functional teams to move aggressive business goals into innovative people strategies resulting in a competitive advantage. She has successfully executed these strategies for well known companies including: The Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, Nestle Purina PetCare, and Enterprise Holding.

Ada holds a Masters in HR Development from Webster University and a Bachelors in English Literature from Spelman College.
